A change of plans -- again.

It's been 3 months since I've worked for a newspaper. And frankly, I miss it.
Yeah, I know I've chatted on my site about joining the Marines, or going to Korea. But I really have been praying about the Korea idea, and there seemed to be something a bit off about it. So I was chatting with my mom about Korea, and my reservations, and she asked me why I just didn't go work for a newspaper.
"Because I'm burned out?" I say.
"Well, what would you like to do," she asks.
"Run a newspaper!" I say.
"And how are you going to get there?" she asks.
"Work at a paper?"
You get the idea. Am I still burned out with journalism? Well, as long as I'm not running a paper, I'll always be a bit fed up with the business. Probably more so, if I ever have to run one myself. But journalism is where my strengths are -- surprisingly, I don't think my life purpose was making DRAM in a fabrication plant.
Now, I'm dusting off all the old clips, polishing up my resume and looking for likely targets. I think I'll be moving, no matter what. The question is where, and when, and what I do for cash in the meantime.
The picture up above, by the way, is from a hike my dad and I took in Arizona. Once I figure out this new program (Blogger) I'll put up a slideshow.
